  I just don't get it. There seemed to be something terribly wrong with the production design. Nothing rang true - the locations, the costumes, the entire mise-en-scene. It all seemed so contrived and inauthentic, like some film school 101 project. None of the character were in the slightest bit interesting, so I didn't care what they did or didn't do. I had a similar reaction to Meek's Cutoff.

  I love slow cinema because it makes you take a step back…

  Totally meaningless film. I clearly must have missed something given all the rave reviews. I thought it was awful. No story, flat charaacters, terrible cinematography. I couldn't wait for it to finish
