My favourite comfort film, the animators did an incredible job with creating such a surreal sensation of flying, so much so that you feel immersed in the experience as if you are actually with Toothless in the clouds. The plot was enjoyable. Hiccup losing his leg as toothless lost his wing was almost poetic and the difficult father-son relationship between Stoic and his son was enticing. Entertaining but seeing a gay Benoit blanc in a bathtub with a fez playing among us was very much not expected. Also there was no need for some characters like the scientist did nothing, birdie jays assistant did nothing. Saved by a book cliche even tho a bullet would very easily penetrate a book that small and continue into her chest.
