Knowing Friedkin, Petersen’s cock wasn’t a prosthetic. Visually beautiful, never seen LA shot the way it was in this “flick.” Car chase scene was even more exciting than French connection. Does a better crime thriller exist?

Imagine Indiana Jones but replace archaeologist Harrison Ford with a psychic played by Jeff Goldblum.
There is no doubt in my mind that someone lost a job over this movie - which probably led to a divorce bc of not being able to make the mortgage payments on that ski cabin in Jackson Hole. But all was not for nothing - I consistently lol’d during the absurdity of this flop. It grossed 10% of it’s $18 million budget. Prob would’ve given it two stars if I hadn’t gotten some much needed rest during the 15 minute climax.
