    Rewatching this five years later, I feel crazy but this might be a masterpiece.

    It's not trying to blow your mind. However, everything single thing it goes for, the movie does absolutely perfectly?

    ScarJo quirked up but still grounded? Amazing.
    Chubby child best friend? Immaculate.
    Hitler being comedic relief while not blunting the horrors of Nazis? Unreal.

    It needed to be a comedy because otherwise all of the heavy themes they touch on would have made the movie unwatchable. Robert Pattinson absolutely kills it; it's a really entertaining watch all the way through. Moon mixed with Arrival. In a good way.

    Could have done without all the sauces though.
