Rewatching this five years later, I feel crazy but this might be a masterpiece.

It needed to be a comedy because otherwise all of the heavy themes they touch on would have made the movie unwatchable. Robert Pattinson absolutely kills it; it's a really entertaining watch all the way through. Moon mixed with Arrival. In a good way.
Could have done without all the sauces though.

This movie had me teeming with thoughts leaving the theater, which at the very least shows that it's worth watching. I even offered to babysit my nephew just so his parents could go watch it in theaters. It is absolutely gorgeous. I never felt the embarrassment that often goes along with blockbusters that use too much CGI. Here are three main things I kept thinking about two weeks…
I think there is a version of this movie that is incredible. Unfortunately, this was movie wants to be about misogyny, but also seems to hate every woman within the movie. I tried to square the fact that the two leads in this movie are void of any substantive thoughts with the idea that it's okay because it's a commentary on fame. But what exactly is it saying about fame and misogyny? And did the movie justify the horrible means…
