    The confidence is tangible.

This is definitely a film that thrives on the experience, not just the narrative. I wish I saw it in cinemas. I definitely see this ranking higher once watched on a larger screen with resolution that reflects the quality the film was made to reflect.

I occasionally feel under a lot of pressure in my job; but then I watch men operating in conditions like in this film - under the pressure of potential nuclear war and death hinging on their actions or inactions - and I end up thanking God for my stress that no longer looks that bad.

After watching this film twice, and realizing that I’ve thought about this film extensively after each viewing, I could no longer fool myself into thinking that this film is inferior to Into the Spiderverse. Very glad this holds up and in parts is even better than I remember. So many jokes that I missed when I was younger had me laughing out loud mehn. Voice acting was good, esp for all the villains. The music in this film surprised me w how good it was, especially the singing slugs 🤣 This continues to show me that Dreamworks has always given Pixar ample competition with their unique premises and comedic stories. Underrated film that deserves more attention
