The Monkey 2025
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
The filmmaker responsible for Longlegs (fire btw) took the doll from that movie and made it a monkey and then made a dumber movie about just that. Theo James was an awful choice. Making him play a nerd character should be a crime. It should also be illegal to have one actor play two characters, and not introduce them in the same scene together. Just hoping the audience buys it.

I was at the Cannes premiere of this!!
A very layered plot and an amazing ending. Hard to put my finger on exactly what about it held it back from being better but something did. Still really good though and there were some amazing shots and camera / storytelling techniques.

Then Came You 2018
I just saw the premiere of this movie in Woodstock, NY at the Woodstock film festival...it actually isn’t going to hit theaters until February! The film is actually called “Then Came You.” I had the privilege of meeting the director, Peter Hutchings after he fact. What a film. What a cast...INCREDIBLE performances from both stars. I was truly blown away by the film and I hope to keep in touch with the director. Wow.
