Look the lesson of this film is “police should break the rules sometimes, right?” and maybe that shouldn’t land with me. Yet this movie is pure fun because the score rocks, the writing is tight, and everyone involved is having a blast. I get that copaganda is bad, but fictional 1980s Eddie Murphy can steal my robe and put a banana in my tailpipe anytime.

Captivating and poignant wordless storytelling. Quietly beautiful, unlike my downstairs neighbor. Their visceral screaming woke me up at 5:30 am, and I watched Flow when I couldn’t sleep afterwards. I guess I’m grateful for that silver lining, this film is lovely. But also please god shut up.
