She’s really good in this as usual. I was on the edge of my seat most of the movie.
The ending must’ve been traumatic for poor Harry. It fit the vibe of the movie but I couldn’t help but feel for the little guy.
My first Hitchcock was a good one. It felt like a stage play with it all taking place in one set. It also almost looked like one continuous shot save for a couple places where I noticed cuts. Interesting filmmaking techniques for sure.
One of the most suspenseful moments was when the maid nearly opened the chest. I was bracing myself in that moment.
I felt the movie really shine in the third act from when Jimmy Stewart comes back…
