Blown away by the animation, the 3D rerelease looks insanely good. Everything else is good, I don’t fully vibe with the darker asthetic but that’s probably a me issue, it’s good overall.

Trap 2024
Interesting but pretty nonsensical. Feels like it leaves a decent amount of plot threads unresolved. These characters don’t feel super well written and the film feels like it loses steam (and sense) post concert. Good atmosphere and a good lead performance though, and the songs aren’t half bad

Today, March 26th marks the US release date for this movie. The movie, that for an unexplained reason, is my favorite of all time. This movie is my happy place. No other film has given me the magic I get when I watch Toothless and Hiccup soar through the clouds. No other piece of music has captivated me so much that I listen to it every single night. The lightning,animation, pacing, characters, I all love so dearly. Thank you Dean, Chris Sanders, and all others who have worked on this film in some way for changing my life
