I just got out of the theater like ten minutes ago. I don't really have coherent thoughts yet, but I feel like I'm going to forget most of what happened in this movie if I don't talk about it now, so here are some bullet points.

Dune 2021
This was way better than I remembered, but I still didn't think it was *that* good. The visual effects, cinematography, sound effects, and score are all amazing. Star Wars ran (with some stumbles) in 1977 so that this movie could sprint. The story is pretty simple, but that's not necessarily bad thing. Stories don't need to be over-complicated to be good.
