Barbie and the Three Musketeers 2009
what a film!! easily one of my favourite barbie films the soundtrack lives rent free in my head. havent watched it in like 10 years and knew every word lol. i will say its only rated so high because of the nostalgia it for sure has some cringe moments but i love it none the less.
made me wanna sword fight constantly when i was younger. i got a sword that had jelly beans in it for christmas, emptied the jelly beans into a cup and immediately learnt the fight routines lol

ok so first of all cinematographer was incredible, i was constantly checking the back of the wide shots to see if there was anything there kept a real suspense about it all.
my one gripe with it is mostly the advertising because it just wasnt scary. like the jump scares were really obvious and either built up to them too much so we knew they were coming or didn't build it up at all so it felt out of place.…

am i rating it 5 stars because it’s pure nostalgia? yes? if i watched it today for the first time would i still be obsessed? possibly. the music? in my head. iconic. iconic. insane. cannot believe this was an actual film i watched as a literally baby. also i think that Queen Stormella mad me gay.
