Like a candy apple filled with razor blades, this movie looks and starts out idyllic with gorgeous colors and cute picnics but spirals into a horror movie of sorts. With Francois in the center of all of this justifying his selfish choices with flowery language and long speeches when in the end all he cares about is his own happiness and considering women as simply another thing for him to enjoy and add to his life
