Didn’t much care for the horror from this one. The over arching story w/ the ambulance connecting all the clips was scarier than some of the these clips. Still a fun watch.

Rare horror sequel that’s better than the original.

These clips from the VHS’s are far better in this adaptation than the original. Yet retains all the character of sometimes having campy actors since all of these vhs’s are shot independently and by different crews.

A pretty strong first half, but descends into complete fuckery in the 2nd. On paper the story seems cool, but most of the characters motivations weren’t fleshed out. Left the theater wondering if I was going to get the theme of the film on the car ride back or if it was just that bad.

Where “Blue Beetle” shines is it’s thematic elements of family, some enjoyable action scenes, and most of the acting. (Susan Sarandon phoned her performance in 💀

It has heart but no soul.

Blue Beetle” suffers from being so painfully…
