  The delivery from the main two actors seemed off… I can’t place my finger on it - but perhaps it’s because I came into it with my preconcieved notions of how the story should play out and emotions they would’ve portrayed and I’m just dissapointed the director’s vision didn’t match my own.

  THAT BEING SAID - beautiful visuals, beautiful soundtrack, wonderful performance from everyone else. But I just can't get see Timothy as a Messianic figure

  This Soviet animated short film called ‘The Talking Hands of Travancore’ explores in brief the mythical origins of Travancore, Kerala and its classical Malayali dance, Kathakali.

  The animation is so smooth and the art style is so unique and vibrant, it really makes me feel inspired to explore more classic Soviet animations. The narration also adds an existential and ethereal quality to the film, and it’s impressive how much research the artists and writers did to make this possible.
