Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings 2021
Technically watched in preparation for San Francisco. Milk 2008
Watched in preparation of my San Francisco trip. The most formulaic of biopics but dammit if I didn't have a good time watching this. There's classic lines foreshadowing his demise that I'm sure were made up, lots of Oscar-bait type background music, and even stills at the end showing how well the actors look like the people they are portraying. Even for all its flaws, it's still an important part of history and activism I'm glad I learned about. The performances were all great (even James Franco), and I really liked seeing Milk evolve beyond just an activist to a politician.

How much do you want to bet this is never coming out
EDIT: Welp.
EDIT 2: Kanye shouldn't be able to edit his own auto-documentary. Why does this have to be argued?Translated from by -

The animation is to die for, and this may be the most stunning, elaborate animated film I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. Anime may have grace, but this movie feels like it took five painstaking capitalist-heavy…
