  The Fly is a mainstream horror movie blended with a heavy dose of science fiction and melodrama. This movie makes you want to meticulously clean out your literal shit…in this case a fly in the window.   The Texas Chain Saw Massacre 1974

  ★★★½ Added

  Tension. This low-budget film creates the kind of tension that makes you gag at the thought of eating spaghetti, or any other sound-making food while watching.
  The characters were flat, some of the scenes were low budget...you knew immediately that the van of travelers were (almost) all done for the moment they stopped...but the tension built, without a lot of gory kills, was spectacular. The ending scene of Leatherface dancing around with his chainsaw is comparable to the embodiment of the first time someone figured out how to give them self an orgasm.

  Tips off to you, Hooper- just the tip (for now).
