Nope 2022
Jordan Peele knows how to direct. However, to call this a horror movie would be a stretch. There were a few times where I was truly afraid (mainly with the monkey sequence and the scene of the people being ingested by the alien). Overall, it's more of a thriller. However, the delivery of the storytelling was better than in Us in my opinion. I loved the message behind the movie and I also liked the concept of the alien. Though I wish the alien was more elusive because at the end it wasn't terrifying anymore. Overall, decent watch.

American Psycho 2000
American psycho was a really good take on the mind of misogyny and a critique on the patriarchy. However, the ending was confusing. While I get that the purpose was to leave ambiguity, there were a lot of things unexplained that I wish the movie explained more. Christian Bales acting and portrayal of Patrick Bateman was genius.
