  Anyways, another masterpiece from director Hisayasu Sato.

  There is a world outside, but it's empty, and the one on the inside is human chaos.

  Kenji Onishi's film The Air-Conditioning System is dark and devastating. I cried during the watching of this out of anxiety. The constant noise of household machinery. The intense screaming feels like an extension of that noise rather than something inherently human.
