Ronin 1998
I’d only seen this movie when it came out and at the time thought it was all right, but this time around I’ve enjoyed it a lot more. One thing I’d noticed this time around and wouldn’t have back in 98 is that Frankenheimer has really crafted a loving homage to the work of William Friedkin, as there are many, many nods to the likes of: Sorcerer, To Live And Die In L.A., The Exorcist, The French Connection. The irony is not lost on me that he directed FC II.

I’ll need to see it again. This is the kind of movie that will likely satisfy a more abstract and neurodivergent crowd.Translated from by -
