  Just picked up the 4K restoration from the Criterion Collection for Christmas !! Still remains one of my favorite thriller / Westerns. It’s very tense and has great characterization.

  All I can say is... haters will hate.
  When discussing this film in a positive light, this film will instantly get undermined with comparisons to The Dark Knight. It's definitely up there WITH The Dark Knight as one of the more well-made Batman films. Many viewers complained about the film's slow pace, the film being too dark, and too much talking among other things. It's not your typical Bruce Wayne in tights nor a film with moderate use of light.…
