It takes a critical view on individual agency in social structure, and sub-structures. This is such a feel good movie! The rhythm of it as we follow the main character in his daily routine has something very meditative.
He is somewhat special in the modern world, being amazed by simple things, like nature in the middle of the megalopolis and reading. He never lays his eyes on a screen and feels everything firsthand. He knows how to simply shut up and be aware of what surrounds him.
