The Lego Batman Movie 2017
The first Lego movie I’ve actually watched (shockingly) and it had no reason for being so tough! When Batman starts speaking during the black screen I knew it would be good but somehow it ended up being even better.
Will Arnett as Batman is peak and he along with the film itself is genuinely very funny. Constant humour, enjoyable moments throughout and you’ve got to love the fact that it’s really just a Batman and Joker romance film (I’m all here for it).
The ‘LETS GET NUTS MIX’ might be some of the best movie music period (Cutting Crew alongside it too ofc).

Now You See Me 2 2016
It’s not terrible, but is just missing something from the first that made it a bit more enjoyable. Thankfully stays true to the things from the first with the pacing and all the illusions/tricks. Main thing that holds it back I think is that there’s a bit too much going on alongside the main plot.

1917 2019
As someone who’s proper nerdy about both periods of the war and finds it fascinating, I really loved 1917. Might not necessarily be ‘incredibly realistic’ but it really highlighted the brutality of war and how devastating it was - with the little things of the soldiers in the trenches.

Now You See Me 2013
I’ve always thought that this was fun and has just enough to keep me intrigued with what’s happening, possibly benefited by the fact that I would’ve been about 10 when first watched. Feel like most people (especially when younger) are somewhat captivated by ‘magic’, more commonly ‘how did they do it?’ That transcends into this film even with parts of it being a little predictable.
