The Seventh Seal 1957
Something something nihilism. Why do we keep asking questions?
Does one meaningful act, self-sacrifice in an actual game with Death, make the existential horror of not knowing what lies at the end of life worthwhile?
If only Block was a Sicilian, then he could’ve hoped his opponent had fallen into one of the two classic blunders. But nothing escapes Death.

Road House 1989
Schlocky fair that’s so schlocky it’s good. All the face punches and a pretty dece soundtrack of old hits.

Mario and Luigi: Nitro Kart
Really enjoyed this! The intensity peaks had me white knuckling the seat and were palpable in the theater. Incredibly cast! There definitely are more themes and you live with the characters more than Friedkin’s Sorcerer. This did not always pan out in the company town, but I enjoy the character development and exploration of things like age, capitalism, and relationships. I truly love Sorcerer and it’s stress-inducing nihilism so it’s a tough comparison, but I definitely will return to the original as well.

“Being right is not a bulletproof vest, Freddy!”
Liars are scum, and everyone in this movie is scum. Basically an all-star team of crime boys and dudes, including my gods Liotta and De Niro. I just wish that it was a little longer.
RIP Ray, baddest motherfucker there was.

Watched it on my phone off the internet - gave me motion sickness enough to cause me to vomit. I guess that’s karma, sorry Mr. Lynch
