Minus the glue I think the bandage ball looks like a rather effective sensory deprivation chamber. I’ll take one.

David Wenham is magnificent in a comedy that effortlessly proves that you can still make funny movies that won’t get you cancelled. Spit is often genuinely hysterical, David’s physical comedy is out of control, but the script and use of editing is also extremely well done. For what it is Spit over performs and hits notes it has no right to be hitting. You’ll laugh, you’ll be moved, you’ll get an undeniable sense of Australiana and ultimately, you’ll want more Spit.

Silly-stupid-scary… not unenjoyable, but perhaps funnier than it intends to be. I think Imaginary is aware of its B grade schlock stick and actually has some fun with it. Unfortunately they don’t really land the plane on the scares. But I had a good time.

A lesbian crime-sex-comedy set in 1999. This movie feels like if ‘Bottoms’ and ‘The Big Lebowski’ had a baby. I’ve never seen a movie this silly/ funny directed by an all time great. Try to see it without looking up the cast, you’ll be laughing in no time.
