I thought I was over watching this movie but I guess not. I actually enjoyed this way more than I would've expected especially on a fifth viewing, but this movie is just so fun and charming and such a joy to watch. I know everyone and their grandma have given their two cents on this movie but I felt so moved by the movie today, especially the opening act, that I want to write about it.
    First of all, that…

Got a chance to spend my Friday evening catching The Brutalist a third time, this time presented on beautiful 35mm film. There's definitely a lot you can takeaway from seeing a movie like this multiple times, a lot of it came from my second viewing where the pieces and some of the themes and events hit much harder than when they were introduced to me the first time. I got so entranced watching Shula become the rock for her family and watch her navigate the situation from her perspective, feeling her isolation or feeling her frustration, it was all incredibly well written and well directed. It’s such a gut wrenching story…

Wait this was actually so good. Wanted to check this out because it's been a good minute since I've seen any Looney Tunes content but I was so surprised how much I enjoyed this. The animation is still fantastic and fun to watch and does not feel dated whatsoever. In fact it even has a certain charm to it, in how it very much is still its own thing and doesn't try to mimic styles we see in modern animated…

Damn, they kinda forgot to give this a compelling plot. Also had Toni Collette doing absolutely nothing for like 98% of her screen time.
