Got a chance to spend my Friday evening catching The Brutalist a third time, this time presented on beautiful 35mm film. Fuck uncle Fred. Narratively this feels a bit dry at first but as it starts to unpack its many layers, it tackles so much from grieving to changing of cultural norms to the toxicity of patriarchal societies.
