A slasher film made for fans of the slasher subgenre, not sure how much it appeals to anyone else though. As a big slasher fan, I really appreciate what they did this movie, it was a unique take on a fairly worn story. Interesting to see this depicted minus the usual atmospheric lighting and music that a company these films. As a follow-up to Aliens, this film has so many problems. But as a standalone movie, I really enjoy it. Dutton was great, and the premise is fun. If it wasn't Ripley, and just some random space jockey who crashed on the prison planet, this movie would not get the amount of hate that it does.
