Woah! An instant 5 star for me. I was only going to preview it and maybe watch it later but this one did something a lot of films don’t. It sucked me in. I think what lured me was the acting by James McAvoy. I know a few hotheads like him. I was waiting to see how it would play out and the intense level on this one was at a ten. The final act gets all the glory and “Louise” was definitely the breakthrough star. The ending left me feeling vindicated for the victims. Well done!

Overrated. I will start by saying it was beautifully shot from a 35mm camera. The film drags in getting across the plot of the entire story. I remember Willa Fitzgerald from the “Scream” TV series and she was okay. Here I feel as they were pushing her to play a breakout role when in reality it kinda flopped. Kyle Gallner delivered what he had to do. That pretty much summarizes it.

I loved her as Jasmine in the live action of “Aladdin”. She also reminds me of Sarah Michelle Gellar in her slasher days. The formula was the same as the original but was still cringe worthy. This one has a strong rewatch factor which is why I rated it so high…

To release a prequel to “Rosemary’s Baby” is pretty wild. Knowing it wouldn’t be nearly as great I went in without prejudice. After realizing they connected the story to “Terry” the woman that commits suicide in the first act of the original is a safe move. What captivated me was the performance by Dianne Wiest as “Minnie” she was pretty good. The set design was great. The direction was pretty smooth. Overall, I was impressed by the tone and suspension.…
