  literally the perfect love letter to older gothic films. perfectly dark and beautifully shot with gorgeous scenery thrown in. a little long feeling for my taste in the cinema but will be perfect watching curled up in bed or on my sofa

  not as weird as everyone was making it out to be. the ‘weird’ scenes seem to be added for the shock value but do give the film a slightly gritty and more ‘real’ feel to it. an interesting take on class division and the lengths people will go to to gain power and wealth. But you can’t ignore the obsession Oliver has for Felix and how he orchestrated EVERYTHING to get what he wanted. no matter the cost.

  had the potential to be a phenomenal film. tried to do the jumps between characters like the game does but didn’t achieve and actually made the film really hard to follow. besides that good casting and the monsters were spot on
