The Lady from Shanghai 1947
Orson Welles is so overly smug and his little grin pisses me off. In the Third Man and Citizen Kane the smug look and grin worked - his characters were smug/know it all/snotty. His Irish accent makes no sense and he changes the way he talks every sentence. He’ll throw in a super Irish ending on a word and then leave the rest of the words in the sentence English. Jarringly bad.
Rita is great though.
