  All-in-all, it's a thriller I enjoyed but wouldn't recommend. I was intrigued throughout the movie. Left the theater feeling empty. Definitely some seriously tense moments here, but few and far between, considering its runtime. Characters could've been more fleshed out.

  Edit: these creepy-country-family movies always remind me of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, lol.

  The focus was different than what I was expecting. I'm not sure if I like that or not.
  A few eye-roll and wtf moments here.
  I always like a good mystery. This was just an overrated, decent one.

  There's nothing new here, but it's a generally lighthearted adventure that's better than Detective Pikachu, so there's that.
  Jim Carrey's quirky performance was tons of fun to watch.
