  Good movie. Chalamet is cooking and performing all those songs is insanely impressive. I liked it it just doesn’t do anything special to help me come away with a new appreciation of Bob. Main takeaway: people need electric guitar their life.

  I thought it was fitting to rewatch this after I put the movie poster up in my room. 

  Strangely, I’ve a hard time understanding why I really adore this movie. But I think I’ve figured it out. Two things that I hold precious are friendship and music and this movie is about those things. It reminded me about how important music is to me and all the joy and peacefulness that it brings me. And the power of friendship and growth with the people that you enjoy being around the most. Just a wonderful ride. We’re all cool.

  I’m speechless but I have so many things to say. 

  A story that was relevant when it was released, 25 years earlier, and 25 years later it doesn’t matter. Very relevant messages about impressionable youth and how, even now, kids can be manipulated into hating people for no reason. Edward Nortons character is able to overcome but it doesn’t mean that the damage hasn’t already been done.
