If Sean Baker made a slasher (and I know he loves slashers) in his usual Cinéma vérité, it would have to be something like this. Great camera work (love the last kill in the glow of what I think are oil refineries) and natural performances make this a refreshing twist like last year’s In A Violent Nature.
