Probably Ridley Scott's best work for a minute. The film deals with the issues at hand with great finesse, an interpretation that is important and something I haven't come into contact before, that of women's plight within the medieval era something that can be completely and correctly compared to present day.

The main highlights of the film were the structure, three parts three perspectives that delved deep into their own psyche and how they perceived not only the people around them but themselves. Jodie Comer's performance was the other highlight, that really stole the film with the final chapter.

Have not experienced a movie like Dune since Lord of the Rings. It was epic in every sense of the word, faithful to the book through and through, not a weak member of the cast, perfect sound design and for a movie that has a 2 and half hour runtime feels like you are in the cinema for 10 minutes. The pacing sometimes suffers and moves a tad too quickly, but this is a symptom of the dense source material and not something that would detract my enjoyment of it. A movie you have to experience at the cinema.
