Green Book 2018
The theme of the story “based on real life events” is kinda sticking into each film nowadays and I don’t mind that when there’s a little less hidden commercials of KFC, Steinway, Coca Cola etc. However I really love the 60-70s style of the USA and the colors of the film itself. Also the plot is starting a bit slow as for me.

The film is filled with metaphors and the viewer can find different associations while watching it.
The sand itself is a lifeline while the main hero Niki fights with his problems. The woman in the dune is his only help in his struggle with himself. First he fights the situation he gets into but fails all the attempts to get out and after months of living with the woman he accepts his new existence.
