    I saw this when there was less than two hours left for it to leave Mubi. I won't lie, I was tempted by the question of what would happen if I missed watching this film. My life would have certainly not lost anything. I would forget instantly and get on with my life; with all my assignments pending it didn't seem like a bad idea and saving 70-odd minutes seemed decent.

    But something told me to watch it regardless. 70…

    If Kant and Gandhi had a discussion about their philosophies and decided to write a fictional story and also subsequently decided to cheekily flex on Marx, or Dostoevsky's The Idiot, and the Idiot wins.

    All in all, a lovely film. Makes you wonder where all the original and fresh screenplays have gone considering how today's Bollywood is mostly biopics, "social" films or rip-offs of Airplane! (1980)

    This film has been executed brilliantly, and has some of the most beautiful frames I have seen in modern Indian films. I especially loved the simplistic and honest depictions of the Goan landscape. How it is a mish-mash of various cultures, yet it has its own claim to it all. I loved the depiction of a Goa beyond the booze, drugs and the party beaches. Well done to all involved!
