This film tackles an unmentionable problem at the core of an extended family, an extremely relatable issue, bluntly but beautifully. It uses every opportunity to be creative. Some very tasteful cinematography here—every composition or camera move was interesting and felt so right for the tone of the story it was telling. The soundtrack did a lot to communicate the urgency of certain scenes and the costumes were so vibrant. Susan Chardy gives an arresting performance. I would love to see more people talking about this movie.

I’ve never been so immediately obsessed with a TV show. Started this on February 24 so it super felt like I was entering Twin Peaks with Cooper. The characters are so vivid and distinct, the set design is so detailed, and I can’t get over how incredible the soundtrack is. They played like 4 pieces of music over and over again but I will never get tired of it. Also the dialogue is surprisingly goofy and balances out the horror…

EXCRUCIATINGLY BORING. I felt physically ill during those wasted two hours, seeing how there was nothing remotely entertaining or intriguing happening. I really regret not walking out. I am at a loss as to why people seem to like this at all???? I’m not one to be overly critical of movies, but I HATED THIS SO MUCH.

We’re way overdue for a Robert Pattinson oscar nomination. Mark Ruffalo and Toni Collette reprise their roles from Poor Things and Knives Out as rich entitled idiots and it’s hilarious. The movie has things to say but doesn’t pull any punches. Sci-fi slapstick satire really worked for me, in fact I almost wish this was longer.
