  I’ve been working 13 hour shifts for the last week so I was zoning in and out. This will need to be a “rewatch” for me in more awake times.

  Silent Hill 2006

  This is a crazy request, but could I live here?? Silent Hill is my sort of town;
  Quiet,
  Foggy,
  Old-timey,
  Creepy,
  And yet, still warm looking. I’m in!

  I loved the old PS2 games so this was a fun revisit. Well laid out story with good solid tone! Pacing was a bit off and plot was sort of predictable.

  Damn, being bullied in the late 70s seemed intense. That teacher was stone faced as fuck tho! Great scene. 

  It’s crazy how the collaboration of a Stephen King story and a John Carpender director can make a film about an evil, killer car…scary? Like legit scary, well done sirs!!

  I was waiting for the scene where they open Christine’s door and find Arnie naked and fucking the car’s cassette player. Never happened tho:(

  Prey 2022

  You know what’s cool, every decade gets a Predator movie. Some aren’t great, but everyone gets 1 from 1987, to 1990, to 2004, to 2018, to 2022. 

  This version of the Predator alien is more primitive in technology. But it works for the setting of the film. I wish they could continue the franchise going through time. 
  -a industrial age “Predator 2”
  -an ancient Aztec “Alien Vs. Predator”
  -a WW2 version of “The Predator”
  So many cool possibilities!
