On the surface the film is just so beautiful, a genuinely kind man who has a simple fulfilling life, peel the layers and it conveys a more detailed picture on how he misses and strives for more personal connection usually shown with his interactions in his dreams, with strangers, new friends and especially family.
The way the film is shot also gives a sense of a joyful routine which I’m sure is to represent a simplistic, stoic and non-materialistic lifestyle. …
