ohhhhh, THERE SHE ISSSS. this film fucked me up. the scary elements aren’t pop ups (there are a few) but it’s the atmosphere and music that kept me holding my breath. The story was written extremely well and was disturbing as fuck. THIS IS MY TYPE OF HORROR FILM!!! the opening scene & first “jumpscare” caught me off guard. Maika Monroe and Nicolas Cage were phenomenal on screen, even Alicia Witt killed her role. I would see this film again because of how much I enjoyed it. I also saw it with my aunt Britney & Ivy!!

SECOND VIEWING BUT I SAW IT IN IMAX BY MYSELF. HOLY SHITTTTTT, I GOT GOOSEBUMPS FOUR SEPARATE TIMES. THIS FILM WAS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE IN IMAX!!!! WHEN PAUL IS ABOUT TO RIDE THE SANDWORM, I SWEAR TO GOD I THOUGHT SAN ANTONIO WAS EXPERIENCING AN EARTHQUAKE. MY SEAT WAS SHAKING. I WANNA SEE IT A THIRD TIME. I LOVE THIS MOVIE SO MUCH.

my nephew Levi was supposed to be born today we & we were supposed to go see him in the hospital. i convinced my parents and brother let’s see Dune on opening day THEN go visit Levi…which we did (Levi was not born today). HOLY FUCK THIS MOVIE WAS SO INCREDIBLE. THE SOUNDTRACK. THE FINAL FIGHT. THE CAVE SCENE. I WANT TO ERASE MY MEMORY AND RELIVE THE ENTIRE MOVIE AGAIN.
