To preface, I actually wasn’t sure about the hype surrounding this film. I thought the trailer showed way too much and it made me a bit wary. I couldn’t have been more wrong!
That kitchen scene was enough to warrant 4 stars from me. I knew going into this that religious commentary was a main theme (which made me equal bits intrigued and put off) but those reviews really don’t do it justice.
I didn’t intend to agree with both…
