The Substance 2024
Probably the grossest visuals i’ve ever seen in a movie i had to fast forward through so much of it bc it was just ew. but the rest of the movie was great demi and margaret deserve oscar nominations, and this movie deserves best makeup oscar. it was more sad than anything tbh

I watched this with vivian sammy and lilli and it was the funniest movie experience i’ve ever had. i almost peed my pants at several points. sydney sweeney and dakota john did not give one single fuck and it was so funny. i love how she was mad at her mom because she died in childbirth but then became greatful because she wasn’t disabled like what let’s keep it a buck. i felt like i was watching dhar mann. but i had so much fun and i got a shamrock shake after words which made me flood my basement.

i give it a 5/10 because it was so cringy and bad but it was so funny. karen was my favorite character, cady was a horrible singer, renee rap is gorg and deserved a much better ensemble cast. but it was funny and i laughed a lot
