What an incredible performance from Madeline McGraw.
And I know Ethan Hawke doesn’t like to do horror movie roles but he works so well with Scott Derickson.
Lastly, its interesting to me that you don’t see the Grabber do much actual violence, there’s just the flashes of his victims and when he hits Finney during the first escape attempt. I don’t know if that’s intentional to make the dad seem like even more of a giant piece of shit but…

This was like, right up my alley in terms of shlocky movie. I can’t believe how much I enjoyed it. I have so many thoughts I don’t think I can ever organize them but:
- Rhino just being a human rhino was one thing, I was disappointed but I saw that in the ads at least. Kraven’s brother being the Chameleon and his power is just “I mimic singers at a lounge bar” was unreal

Those Who Wish Me Dead 2021
I don’t know how a movie where Angelina Jolie parachutes out of the back of a truck, falls flat on her back from like 30+ ft up, and gets electrocuted all in a 30/45 minute span can still feel so uneventful.
This is an instance where there were too many things to try to pack into a tight 90 minute runtime and in the end nothing quite worked to its’ full potential.
Except Jon Bernthal and Medina Senghore. I would’ve watched at least two hours of their exploits.
