I was made fun of for having loud “dad watching his team at the Super Bowl” reactions to most scenes and performances in this movie

There are few instances throughout film history when every element comes together to allow for true transcendence. This film holds within it that indescribable and undefinable magic that only cinema can illuminate. It ignites the spark deep inside us to listen to the voice in your heart and realize your full potential in this beautiful life. Finding the love we don’t even know we deserve in the people around us that show it to us. I don’t know much but I do know that this is one of our greatest American films.

What I can tell you is that seeing this on the Lincoln square IMAX was a religious experience. It’s kind of the only way this movie should be seen. There has never been and never will be anything like this movie.

Selena Gomez showed up to say hi after the movie and I was truly starstruck they could never make me hate you you’re my hero

Annie Baker is a genius and her brilliance translates to the screen even better than I could have hoped. She just gets it. There is something so specific about late August in Massachusetts that is captured so beautifully in this film. It’s a movie you can smell. You can feel the whole environment so palpably. And that richness of environment elevates such simple yet powerful performances. THIS is how you properly use an episodic/chapter structure in a film. It needs to help tell the story. Brilliant.

    longest yeah boi ever

I don’t know how it manages to hit just as hard on third viewing within the span of a few days. AMC is gonna have to drag me out by my ankles if they don’t want me to keep seeing this movie.
