I realise I'm rewatching these movies in a weird order, but Licence to Kill feels like the obvious follow-up to a rewatch of On Her Majesty's Secret Service, seeing as it's Bond's revenge plot to bring justice to the man responsible for gravely harming Felix Leiter, and murdering his wife. Seeing history repeat itself for his closest ally, Bond refuses to leave it all to bureaucracy.

Been a long, long time since I'd last seen this entry. Was well worth revisiting as I think I appreciated its strengths much more this time around. The fight choreography is impressive for 1969, almost meeting the energy of Daniel Craig's Bond films in brutality and ruggedness.
