Wonder Woman 1984 2020
This is a horrible film. There are basically three things that can destroy a movie: bad writing, bad directing and bad acting. Of the three, bad writing alone will over power, great acting and great directing. A great looking film that has bad writing is still a bad movie. Wonder Woman 84 is an example of this. Bad writing. The story is developed poorly, makes no sense and essentially leaves the movie watcher disinterested in the characters and events developing…

Knives Out 2019
This is a surprise. When I first saw the trailer I thought that it might be an average film. Man was I wrong. This film is extremely clever, well acted and looks fantastic. It flows and feels like a stage play and with very little, if any SFX, the dialog and character development is front and center. One of the best movies released in 2019.
