  #12. Scary Godmother: Halloween Spooktakular (2003)

  Extremely disturbing. Not because of the uncanny animation, not because of the strange 2D / 3D world these characters inhabit, but because I remembered nearly every moment of this film despite me not remembering its existence until tonight. Every scene, every character, every frame was something that has been strangely ingrained into my brain since my childhood when I probably watched it once on Cartoon Network. Hm. Big shoutout to Chris for watching this with me.

  Seen at the Music Box Theatre

  I had completely forgotten that my first gay crush was on Andrew Scott. I had buried that somewhere deep in my memories for some reason and so many teenage emotions came out of me while watching this. Between that plus my love for Andrew Haigh and the Pet Shop Boys, I feel like this movie was made for me.
