I enjoyed it. It was a semi-serious romp with plot holes galore. The acting was terrible, the script was boring, the action scenes made no sense and this is some of the worst CGI i've ever seen in a blockbuster film. It was fun to watch for pure entertainment but it's not exactly rewatchable. It wasn't funny enough or cheesy enough to make it a cult classic.
Utter fright and terror. Talk To Me is horrifyingly scrumptious with a few scenes to make you gag. It's also very intelligent and thoughtful at times. Excruciating yet exhilarating. Definitely would recommend to horror fans who have a strong spirit who also have a strong stomach.
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I liked the show, but as a chess fan I wish it did more game analysis. Beth was a compelling enough character, and it was really rewarding to see all the men she had love interests with coalesce around her at the end, lmao SIMPS. Beautifully shot with deep moments that fall a bit flat by leaning into too many dramatic tropes, but what do you expect from a Netflix original?
3.5/5 stars
Wasn't anything remarkably spectacular in this movie, save for Peter Cushing's Sherlock and Christopher Lee's beautiful, regal face and appearance. I enjoyed this movie! I've got a few more movies to watch now with Peter Cushing in it. I didn't know how good of an actor he was. I only knew about Star Wars! Big fan, big Christopher Lee fan. Good watch!
