  Bong Joon Ho isn't always the best at pacing or writing an entirely cohesive narrative, especially with his non Korean films, but I'll alwasy be thankful for the fact that he's been granted the ability and the budget to make sci-fi blockbusters. He's clearly one of the most talented, creative, distinct voices who have that privilege. Mickey 17 stands tall in that regard.

  It's nice to see a movie that just works sometimes. Not exactly life changing but just really, really solid all around.
  Tbh Domingo probably should've won for this performance, he's pretty incredible in this.

  Finally, someone is giving Challengers a run for it's money.
  Positively insane. The directing is pretty much perfect, it's all so over the top in a way that's both hilarious and deeply grotesque, it's a genuinely great and effective body horror movie, I just love every aspect of it. It might be a bit too long, but this is a cut above almost any other film I watched from this year. If youre not squeamish, give it a watch. Serious Banger.
