The first musical since mean girls where I actually like the songs. Big bonus. The sets were pretty and the performances were good. It was a pleasant watch!
The story itself is very on the nose and that’s fine since it’s meant to be accessible, but that doesn’t justify how shallow some of the plot is. How quickly the witches become friends, how surface level the animal plot is, how little any of the side characters like Elphaba’s sister matter.…

The Holdovers 2023
This is a good movie. It just didn’t connect with me for some reason. I think most people would love it but for me, it felt a bit too artificial.
I also think that this movie is a little too sad? I’m not sure though. I think the tone doesn’t fit.
