I think I am the only person who liked this movie outside of the academy, but that’s because I have a bigger brain and larger heart that most of you cold cynics who hate love stories, even if they’re with freaky fish boys.

This film has got to be one of the most infuriating and disappointing thrillers made in recent memory. Julia Ducournau is an excellent technical director with an immaculate sense of pacing, shot selection, and just general vibes.
